Visited the new Topshop today. Not much of a difference from the Ion space. The only thing difference would be the staff. They employed pretty young'uns for this branch and probably placed high emphasis on customer service here. Staff members was smiling at me left right and center and they were quick to offer help which is really commendable if you ask me. Unfortunately they couldn't be very helpful, most of the staff members there are probably rookies and I probably was better off helping myself. When I asked to see if I could find the item in another branch since it was out of stock at the Knightsbridge one I was given ums, I'm not so sure and you could probably go and check. Checked to see if they were able to locate an item I really wanted but wasn't very sure if they have and I got a I don't think we have it here but Knightsbridge is the largest Topshop in Singapore speech. So overly enthusiastic about it being the largest in Singapore I freaked and told her yes I know. Poor girls so willing to help but not be able to provide much help to me I felt so bad.
They finally updated their makeup line and I got the nail polishes I've wanted since forever. Mad obsession with nail polishes. Really like Topshop's makeup line hope they'll continue working on it. They updated the counter at Ion with the new products as well so no need to get too disappointed if you can't find what you want in stock at Knightsbridge.
Many new items that I saw on the website but didn't see at the Topshop at Ion like this really high waisted high cut satin shorts that I like but would never buy to wear. Still couldn't find this CREAM BELL SLEEVE LACE SHIFT DRESS that I'm crazy over. Wanted one ever since I saw the one below. Absolutely gorgeous piece that I could stop thinking about.
Can't spend on anymore clothes so shopping has been rather pointless for me lately. Shopping aimlessly without getting to buy anything is somewhat tragic and boring but I enjoyed it, it's been a long while since I did something pointless. Maybe since October who knows. The last time I walked around aimlessly at my own pace was while Sam was still working for MDA and I got her koi. Money comes and goes so easily, kids it's time to start saving up.
If you're wondering why I'm pouring my fashion rants on here, well my normal go-to fashion comrades are currently otherwise preoccupied. Hurry up NS hurry up exams hurry up school can we skip to the part where we are all ridiculously rich and free? As if that'll ever happen.Everyone is busy and tired, I'm busy and tired, who isn't busy and tired? LSE isn't a very good person to talk to about the things above too. She isn't very interested in what I have to say and dishes me her infamous 'CSB's, 'wokay noted's and 'o.0's. So well here I am. This blog was/is looking kinda sad anyway huh?
